Bootcamp 3.0 Log of Workouts

1 Monday July 15 6:00 am Did Week 1 Day 2 of Couch to 5K workout and completed it successfully so I can move on to Week 1 Day 3. While sprinting is easy for me, distance running not so much so I have opted to try this program to build up my distance safely.
2 Monday July 15 6:40 pm Went to the Monday night class at Fusion InTENse. It was my first class back in a couple weeks and OWWW...but I burned a lot and felt good.
3 Tuesday July 16 5:30am Bootcamp group workout started this morning. We did our normal assessments. I finally did 55 push ups on toes and now I am only 5 from my goal. Situps are gonna need some work though.
4 Tuesday July 16 5:30pm I had to squeeze in a workout between work and a 6:30 meeting so I knocked out Week 1 Day 2 of Couch to 5K again tonight. Super sore from this morning but felt good to get moving.
5 Wednesday July 17 6:40pm Switch Up at Fusion. This class is one of the requirements of bootcamp and I used to despise it...now I LOVE IT. I work hard, I sweat hard and when it is over I am so proud of myself
6 Wednesday July 17 8:10pm A 3 mile walk/run in my neighborhood
7 Thursday July 18 5:30 am Bootcamp workout day! We did a circuit workout today followed by ab work and sprints.
8 Thursday July 18 6:00 pm  Took Fusion Mix class tonight where the devices of torture included gliders, the 'Big' ball, 2lb weights, bands and the ballet bar. 
9 Friday July 19 6:00 am  Went on a quick neighborhood power walk. I didn't push too hard this morning because it was my turn to go with my company to a local charity where we sorted palettes of medical supplies and hauled boxes all day so that was my combo workout.
10 Friday July 19 5:30 pm  Fusion 50 night! I love Fusion 50 on a Friday evening for a couple reasons. The first is I am starting my weekend off right and the second is that it is only 50 minutes long. It is like a little treat. 
11 Saturday July 20 2:30 pm  I opted to sleep and rest so in the heat of the afternoon, I knocked out a 6 mile walk. It wasn't too bad though my legs are aching. 
12 Sunday July 21 7:00 am Easy day! 3 mile power walk.
13 Monday July 22 5:30 pm Fusion Mix tonight. I didn't feel real great and couldn't get my heart rate going well so I'm gonna just forgive myself on that one.
14 Monday July 22 6:40 pm I followed up Fusion Mix with InTENse class and after 40 minutes had to stop. Super tired and just not feeling it tonight.
15 Tuesday July 23 5:30 am Bootcamp morning. Heart rate was getting better. I felt good and burned quite a bit.
16 Tuesday July 23 11:45 am I have meetings in the evening so I went across the street and ran around the little lakes...well ran/walked them. Just shy of 3 miles.
17 Wednesday July 24 11:45 am Yesterday was so nice, that I ran/walked at lunch again today and made better time. One issue though, I tweaked my foot so i bailed out of my evening workout so I could ice and stretch.
18 Thursday July 25 5:30 am Bootcamp morning! We split our time between the soccer field (circuit) and a 'curb' workout in the parking lot...To help understand what that means think up-up-down-down. Yup up and down on the curb with intermittent squats and laps around the lot. We had a choice of running 3 sprints or doing 3 sets of stairs to finish and I'm pretty proud I chose the stairs!
19 Friday July 26 11:30 am Rocked a little Couch-5K over my lunch hour. And bonus, when I got back and went for some fresh water before showering, I ran into all of senior management in the break room while I was a hot sweaty mess.
20 Friday July 26 5:30pm Friday evenings means one thing...Fusion 50! Standard Fusion in a compact 50 minutes.
21 Saturday July 27 6:30 am 5.5K Run/Walk around my neighborhood...
22 Saturday July 27 9:15 am Bikini Bootcamp at Fusion. Lots of fun especially because some of the instructors took the class and it is fun when they have to take a break too...though that doesn't happen as frequently as mine do ;) 
23 Sunday July 28 9:25 am Circuit Circus class. First time back to this class in a few weeks and had a blast, despite what my face looked like.
24 Sunday July 28 11:00 am A post Circuit Circus 2 3/4 mile run/walk in my neighborhood. Felt good to do more cardio and move my body after an intense workout.
25 Tuesday July 29 4:30 pm I am on vacation so I took a nice LONG walk/run by the lake. This is my happy place. I have a busy workout day tomorrow so it will be an early night.
26 Wednesday July 30 2:00 pm 3 mile run/walk along the lakeshore
27 Wednesday July 30 3:00 pm HILL INTERVALS!!! So we have a huge long steep hill next to our cottage by the lake. So I ran up (almost all the way) then ran/walked a few blocks then turned around and went back down and did it all again. Holy crap that was hard!
28 Wednesday July 30 5:30 pm Well, I went back to my childhood friend's studio Studio S Fitness and took another class. This time I managed to climb the pole! Not a ton but I DID IT!!!
29 Friday August 2 1:00 pm We went to Mackinac Island where we rented bikes and biked around the whole island (about 9 miles) and then combined that with walking up and down the island hills
30 Saturday August 3 7:30 am We walked from the cottage to the beach on Lake Michigan which is 3 miles round trip.
31 Saturday August 3 10:30 am Played 9 holes at Antrim Dells golf course.
32 Sunday August 4 7:30 am Played 9 holes at Ag-A-Ming golf course.
33 Monday August 5 5:30 am I took Fusion Mix tonight! It was the first night back and man oh man was it painful!!
34 Tuesday August 6 5:30 am BOOTCAMP MORNING!!! Oh my hell did we run, we ran and sprinted and ran and sprinted and in between some pushups and such...but mostly the running, oh my lord the running.
35 Tuesday August 6 11:30 am Couch to 5K workout. Ow ow ow...but felt good and burned a LOT in a short amount of time.
36 Wednesday August 7 5:30 pm It was a back-to-back Fusion night starting with Barre Intensity. Man oh man that can wear you out, especially when you kjnow you have a workout right after it.
37 Wednesday August 8 6:40 pm Second Fusion class of a back-to-back night...knocked out Switch Up.
38 Thursday August 8 5:30 am Bootcamp morning! This morning we played the fun relay game that I 'love'...followed by 5 rounds of stairs and ab work.
39 Friday August 9 5:30 am I never do the 5:30 am Fusion Classes, especially after bootcamp days but because Jacqui was teaching Tabata and Toning and I hadn't seen my girl Frances in a while I went. OW but a GREAT workout!
40 Friday August 9 5:30 pm I tried something crazy new tonight! It is called 'Pound Fit' it is basically an hour long aerobic workout using weighted drumsticks. I got a good workout in and didn't think it was hard to catch on at all. I look forward to the next class!
41 Saturday August 10 6:55 am In keeping with the 'Try new things' weekend theme...I took my first 'Fusion Fly' class called 'Rush Hour.' It is basically a Spin class (something I've never done) that included weights, resistance bands and a mat (to knock out some push ups). I LOVED it! Can't wait to take another one!
42 Saturday August 10 10:30 am I took MILF over at the Fusion in Mission Farms. Get your mind out of the gutter..MILF stands for: Max (cardio) Intervals Laced with Fusion! You go through a whole routine where you do like 1 min active and 30 seconds active rest moves. Once you get through the whole routine, you do it again with about 45 seconds active 20 seconds active rest then guess what...you do it again with about 30 seconds and 10 seconds. That gets you through the first 45 minutes and you round it out with arms and abs work.
43 Saturday August 10 3:30 pm Yardwork...I know what you are thinking 'really seriously you are counting that as a workout?!' Normally I wouldn't. But well I've been so busy with bootcamp that frankly my yard + large amounts of rain = one BAD YARD. I bagged the grass and only had the bags in the front so every time i had to empty, I carried the catcher off the mower all the way to the front, dumped and continued. I pulled weeds and overgrowth by hand for 30 minutes. I raked, I trimmed bushes and cleaned up the clippings. I did concious squats and even did a few sprints while making passes across the lawn with the mower. I turned off the auto propel so I had to push harder soooo...ya I'm counting it!
44 Tuesday August 13 5:30 am Bootcamp. We did a team relay. One of the hard parts about this being such a big group I don't always think I'm getting the best workout but this one is pretty good.
45 Tuesday August 13 11:30 am Super pissed about my weigh in so I ran at lunch and did it faster than I ever have before.
46 Wednesday August 14 5:30 am I'm trying to switch things up a bit so I am trying to do more 5:30 am workouts. I got a really great workout this morning.
47 Wednesday August 14 11:30 am Another lunchtime run. It felt good and it was so pretty out!
48 Thurdsay August 15 6:00 pm Fusion Mix class. It was a hard workout but I had fun because at the start of it a woman came up to me and introduced herself to me and said she had just read my entire blog! I mean here is a stranger who took the time to read what I am doing. That pushed me to work just a little bit harder
49 Friday August 16 5:30 am Tabata and Toning - This morning was a lot more toning than cardio and I am dreading walking up stairs right now!
50 Friday August 16 5:30 pm This was the second night I've done pound fit. If you recall last time, I wasn't too sore right after it all hit in the morning. Well, I'm in bed and thinking oh my lord tomorrow is gonna HURT!!!
51 Saturday August 17 6:55 am Fusion Fly Rush Hour Spin Class...super fun and much harder than I remembered from the previous week.
52 Sunday August 18 9:25 am Circuit Circus class. I love this class because it is all about challenging yourself. You aren't all doing the same thing at once and only you know how hard you are working and yet there is a 'We're all in this together' feeling.
53 Sunday August 18 11:00 am POUND FIT! This time outside at the local high school. Lots of newbies and super fun.
54 Monday August 19 11:30 am Lunchtime run...
55 Wednesday August 21 5:30 am Hotel workout...I had to travel on the 20th and by the time I got to my destination it was time to go to bed. But got up early and knocked out a workout in the hotel gym
56 Thursday August 22 5:30 am Bootcamp...I skipped on Tuesday and needed the workout. It felt great. Aside from the fact that well I didn't get all my workouts in.
57 Friday August 23 3:00 pm Flew to our Summer home in MI and when I arrived, had the chance to take a nice run along the lake. Have to prep for the weekend golf tournament.
58 Saturday August 24 10:00 am Played the first 18 holes of golf at Ag-a-Ming resort in MI. You actually burn a lot of calories playing.
59 Saturday August 24 4:00 pm Played another 18 holes of golf. Yup that is 36 holes in 1 day!
60 Sunday August 25 8:30 am Played another 18 holes of golf (total of 54 so far)
61 Monday August 26 10:00 am Yah, that's right another 18 (total of 72 so far) this time at Antrim Dells
62 Wednesday August 28 9:00 am We got rained out on Tuesday so I did another 18 holes this time at The Chief. Grand total of 90 holes of golf in 5 days!
63 Wednesday August 28 3:00 pm A nice afternoon run/walk along the lake.
64 Thursday August 29 7:00 am One last lakeside run before flying home and leaving the Summer behind
65 Friday August 30 5:25 am On my day off from work, got up and knocked out a Fusion Fly 'Biker Barre' Spin Class...OW
66 Friday August 30 8:00 am - 7:00 pm Painted my Living Room/Dining Room. I am counting it as a workout between the moving of furniture, cleaning, prepping and the climbing of the ladder a million times and squatting to paint..yah I'm counting it.
67 Saturday August 31 6:55 am Another Fusion Fly Spin class.. this time Rush Hour. This is HARD
68 Saturday August 31 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Day 2 of home improvements/painting etc. Yah I'm counting it. 
69 Tuesday September 2 5:30 am Bootcamp morning! I missed these girls! We did a circuit with Long Side Sprints and Short Side Recovery
70 Saturday September 7 6:55am First workout back after a mega head cold...knocked out a Fusion Fly class and it felt great to sweat!
